Guntur Medical College is located in the city of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, South India. It was named after the city which gained fame as an educational centre between 1900-1970. Guntur Medical college admits 250 students every year, and it has produced many luminaries of the profession including Dr. Yallapragada Subba Rao. It has also produced Dr. Gabba Rao, purveyor of tree medicines.

Bharat, just a suggestion. If you are typin gin all this for memorizing for an upcoming exam, yahoo mail or gmail, or briefcase is a much easier way. BTW, if you have not seen competition success review, you must. I used to when I was 12- bro subscribed and used to trash- I used to pick it up; always liked their wrong approach to IAS interview. The right approach was so boring.

According to recent research, it may also be produced naturally by the human brain

First discovered in 1975, endorphins ("endogenous morphine") is one of several morphine-like substances (opioids) discovered within our brains

If u think 1975 is recent, u belong to mesozoic era........play along with Coelacanths ;)))))))))))

Robert Oppenheimer

Oppenheimer was a great scientist but he almost did not make it to the project. I forget the name- but it was a General- he prevailed on the congressional committees and the president (truman) to include him. It was not oppenheimer who brought all these people together. So much for military stereotypes. And folklore shunts true leaders to the background.
Oppenheimer was a known communist sympathizer (not that it is a sin but in America it was then as it was later too) even then. That was the apprehension. But by Johnson's time, all those who were persecuted during the McCarthy era were rehabilitated one way or the other.

He actually marshalled the likes of Fernman, E Fermi, etc. the best brians in US at that time!! There are countless books and movies about him. I would have loved a longer blog about him (for what is mentioned is like folklore in Physics)

What is this? Some copy paste from Dan Brown's Digital Fortress? Please don't bother... we would rather read the original.
